When my first novel, “Sahadeva Undercover – The Beginning and the End<\/em><\/strong>“, released, many people asked me why I chose Sahadeva. They asked me what made me break silence about one of the most silent characters of the Mahabharata. My answer lies in the question itself – hardly anyone has broken silence about the youngest Pandava! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon, I started paying closer attention to the Indian epics. I started getting intrigued by the nuances of the Mahabharata, which is, I must say, an incredible work of literature. I realized that the character of Sahadeva was seldom brought to the limelight. I looked up more about him and realized that even though he wasn’t discussed much, it had never meant that there was nothing much to speak about him<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I Googled whether there were any books written on Sahadeva. (I am not sure if anyone has written on this Pandava earlier, in English or in any other language.) As far as my search results are concerned, I saw books on other characters of the Mahabharata and not any on Sahadeva (except one comic). Then and there, I decided to change that – I decided to take up this project, do Justice to this wonderful character and write the “Sahadeva Undercover<\/a><\/strong>” series!\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Today, it feels good to actually Google “Sahadeva<\/strong>” and come across my novels. Finally, someone has published a full-fledged work focused on Sahadeva (and that someone is me<\/a>)! The fact that I ended up writing two huge novels on Sahadeva proves that there had always been so much about him that was just ignored! So, what are you waiting for?
